New banner, new products.

New banner, new products.

Great news! We are up-cycling a new banner from Selby and moving towards new product development and production.

We decided to take a risk and develop a new complex product – bicycle bags. These require a technical approach though we are certain that our team of skilful producers will be able to execute it well.

We are planning to release samples in June and to find retailers who will be willing to represent a small ‘Selby’ collection of exclusive bike bags. We are planning to keep the quality and standards as high as other professional bike bags. UppyBags, however, will retain its popular 'from cycling to work' transitional bag style. This allows us to explore the full potential of this sustainable material and reach new heights.

Since we really want to move to the next level, we will also produce samples of marketing merchandise. These can become potential for your company’s sustainable marketing campaign. We are interested in collaborating and creating mutually beneficial relationships with companies who are interested to upcycle their banner.

Let’s talk you through our process of production starting with the banner and finishing with the UppyBags:

The cycle starts with the upcycling of the banner. After its collection, the banner is washed using a minimal amount of water. This is part of the up-cycling process as it represents responsible use of natural resources. Then, it is cut to standard sizes for the design-cutting machine before being sent to factory producers. At the same time, the design and market research process are taking place in our studio in the UK. Using the craft of highly skilled workers, the material is worked into bags. Once the design and product construction is finished, the stitching starts. And so are the bags formed!

Our new banner is currently undergoing this process and we cannot wait for you to see our brand-new products. Check our website uppybags.com for further updates later in August.

We invite you to reach out to us if you are interested in collaborating and creating merchandise with your brand. Follow UppyBags for more news!
